–App Icon Options button: customize the new message indicator on the application icon.
–Show an alert checkbox: show a notification of a new message.
–Customize button: customize the appearance of the new message notification.
–Use the system notification checkbox: Enable system notifications when you receive new messages.
–Show a tray icon for unread messages checkbox: enable the unread message icon in the system tray.
–Play a sound checkbox: enable a beep when a new message is received.
–Play button: play a beep when a new message is received.
–Default system sound for new mail switch: Enable the system beep when a new message is received.
–Use the following sound file switch and Browse button: enable and select a sound file on disk for the new message.
